New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the Gandhinagar train station that can be rebuilt and other development projects in Gujarat through video conferencing.
During his address, the Prime Minister said India lined up in front by leaving old thinking about urban developments.
He said the new Gandhinagar station reflects change and is proof of change in mindset, the use of optimal modern technology, also produces employment opportunities.
“The new train that connects Somnath’s land with the city of Vishwanath will be marked today.
The train will run at a larger speed once the dedicated shipping corridor is complete,” said PM Modi.
“Srinagar will be connected to Kanyakumari soon through Rail,” he added.
Prime Minister further emphasizes that the train needs reform through a new approach.
“The needs of the 21st century India cannot be fulfilled through the 20th century way.
We work to develop trains not only as services but as assets, the results can be clearly visible today,” said PM.
PM Modi also inaugurated aquatics and robotics gallery, and a natural park in Gujarat Science City during the event.
“The Science City project is a mixture of recreation and creativity.
The aquatics gallery is even more interesting; not just the country, but it is one of the top aquariums in Asia,” he said.
Natural parks include several beautiful features such as mist gardens, chess parks, selfie points, sculpture parks, and outdoor mazes.
It also includes an interesting labyrinth designed for children.
This park also contains various extinct animal statues such as Mammoth, Bird Terror, Saber Tooth Lion full of scientific information.
The Prime Minister also praised Gujarat for his Covid management and noted that the state would soon reach the 3-crore vaccination target.
