Education & Preliminary Tribal Affairs Launch of School Innovation Programs

New Delhi: The Ministry of Education and Tribal together launched the “Ambassador Innovation Ambassador” training program for 50,000 school teachers to help provide quality education to children in the tribal area.
The program was launched by Education Minister Union Dharmendra Pradhan and Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda on Friday.
The innovative training program and the only one for school teachers aims to train school teachers in innovation, entrepreneurship, ipr, design thinking, product development, generation of ideas, among others.

We aim to make our teachers, changes and ambassadors of innovation to make our students ready in the future,” Pradhan said at the launch.
The Minister of Education stressed that technology reshaped the world and students had the potential to not only overcome domestic but also global challenges.
The program launched is collaborative efforts by MOE innovation cells, the Ministry of Tribal, CBSE and Aicte, which in turn will maintain students with innovation capabilities, developing the culture of innovation and laid the foundation of new and vibrant and vibrant India, he added.
“This initiative will benefit a large number of schools for tribal children throughout the country by giving wings to children’s creativity and providing platforms so that they can provide something new to the world with their ideas,” Munda said.
“Eklavya occupancy model Schools (EMRS) for tribal children is another ambitious program where 740 EMR will be established in areas dominated by the tribe for the next three years,” he added.
Munda explained that through this unique capacity building program for teachers, excellence has been given to the development of creativity, collaboration, critical thinking skills and communication between children and the integration of Eklavya schools to all programs is a big step towards this to the development of children meaningful tribe.
This program has been designed by Moe and Aicte Innovation cells for school teachers based on “Innovation Ambassador Training Program for Members of the Higher Education Institution.”
