With this, the total cost of the burden in the civil body limit reaches 1,02,546.
Four people surrendered to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking a total of dead to 1,798.
Of the 140 new Covid-19 cases, the maximum number of cases reported from Vashi with 54 positive testing people.
Bellapur reported 24 cases, 18 in Nerul, 16 in Turbhe, 12 in Koparkhairaine and 14 in Ghansoli.
Four cases reported in Airoli and Digha did not see the fresh Covid-19 case on Friday.
On a brighter record, 108 people were sent home from the hospital post making full recovery on Friday.
A total of 99,247 patients had recovered from infection and were dismissed from the hospital so far.
At present there are 1,501 active cases in Navi Mumbai.
