Govt: Contact Helpline In the event of a co-win error in tracking Jab

Ranchi: To ensure the inoculation of the hassle free benefits at the Covid Vaccination Center (CVCS), the State Health Department has directed vaccinators and verification to track details of those who received their first dose if their names did not appear on the search engine managing the second dose.
The department also begged people to report complaints regarding their registration of the Helpline number of the Ministry of Health Union within 24 hours.
Speaking with Toi, Arun Kumar Singh’s Secretary (Health) said, “We already have a system to identify people who appear on the CVCs for their second dose and complain that their registration does not reflect the co-win portal.
Our verification and vaccination has been Trained to track details like that and no one will face a problem.
“A technical expert who works with the department said the case study has shown two types of problems where the recipient faces difficulties in finding their data on the portal.
In the first case, the recipient’s details that receive the first dose cannot be found on the portal for the second jab.
In such a situation, Verifier must use the Add button on the co-win portal and register on the spot, the technical expert said.
“As soon as the option is created, the portal can start the verification process through the aadhaar number, cellphone number or the first dose date.
Verifier will be able to access all details and can provide Jab after checking the validation gap between two doses,” he said.
However, this facility is only for CVCS managed by the government and private CVC has no choice to make changes to the portal.
In the second case, the details of the receiver who have received the second dose cannot find the updated details.
“In this case, the recipient must contact the Helpline 1075 or 104 number that will collect the required information and overcome complaints,” Expert added.
When Tii dialed the Helpline 1075 number, the executive at the other end collected all relevant information such as the district, block, recipient name and cellphone number and assured that it would be updated by the Ministry of Health concerned.
Because asked about possible reasons behind such problems faced by beneficiaries, said the additional major secretary, “a lot of time that happened due to technical obstacles because everything worked through the internet.
We have had an example where people register themselves in CVC and leave without taking it Jab.
So, I want to ask the recipient to take a puncture after they get themselves verified in the middle and if they face problems with their data in the center, immediately contact the help channel number or the next day because changes are allowed until then, “Singh added.
