Coimbatore: Gaurs Majestic, Peackeock who fluttered and the leopard who was caught on a camera governed by the Ministry of Forestry revealed the biodiversity of Western Gath.
The Coimbatore Division of the Department has borrowed a 60-odd camera from the reserve of Anamalai (ATR) eight months ago for wildlife monitoring initiatives.

“The diversity of wildlife is so large and in such a healthy amount can only be there if the flora and forest fauna are healthy enough to support them,” Venkates said.
