Mumbai: While the country reported a slight increase in Covid-19 detection, for the second day in a row, the city was listed under 500 cases (469) on Saturday.
The state reported 8,172 cases and 124 deaths, took the total case to 62 lakh and the fatality of 1.26,851.
The number of daily deaths is stable at 12, taking toll total to 15,690 since March 2020.
“Covid-19 situation is stable in Mumbai, with cases floating around 500 every day.
Our daily positivity is less than 1.5% and below average – NationalRata, “said the additional commissioner of BMC Suresh Kakani.
The number of deaths is above 10 every day, it appears as a place of concern for citizenship officials.
“Our audit into everyday death shows that most of the patients who give up come very late for care or transferred from private hospitals to the public when their conditions worse,” Kakani said.
With a higher release of daily detection, active cases in the state and cities also report a decline.
A slight active case above 1 lakh, 10,672 cases are in Mumbai.
