WASHINGTON: The Biden government investigated the recent rash mysterious health events reported by American diplomats and other government staff in Vienna, Austria, said US officials on Friday.
On Saturday, the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Austria also worked with US authorities to get to the bottom of the incident.
Some of the symptoms are similar to those first reported by US diplomats and spies in Havana, Cuba, in 2016 and 2017 which have not been determined by no definitive causes, according to officials, who say more than 20 new cases are being seen.
Some believe in injuries, which include brain damage, are the result of attacks with microwave wave weapons or radio.
However, even though many years of study there was no consensus on what or who might be behind the incident or whether they were, in fact, attack.
