Ludhiana: The Punjab Youth Development Board (PYDB) Chair of Sukhwinder Singh Bindra on Sunday claims that the Ludhiana industry has convinced more than 20,000 jobs to local youth in the next few months.
He also praised the contribution of the Ludhiana industry to always support the scheme of ‘Ghar Rozgar Ghar Rozgar Ghar Rozgar’ Punjab.
The Chairperson of PYDB held a meeting with several representatives from the Ludhiana industry in the Industrial & Commercial Guards Complex (CICU).
The meeting was attended by all the carrying offices of the Cicu office including President of Upkar Singh Ahuja, Secretary General of the Pankaj Sharma along with representatives of associations related to the knitting industry, shawl, blankets, processing, and furnaces.
When overcoming industrialists, Bindra said it was because of the vision of Minister Amarinder Singh’s chairman that special emphasis had been given to industry like one window invested Punjab and provided electricity at Rs 5 per unit.
Bindra also convinced industrialists that this atmosphere will continue.
He said that Punjab was only a state that always gave a pleasant atmosphere for the industry and which was why some units had been closed previously again.
He said the unit did not just start their operations, but even increased their capacity because electricity was provided at Rs 5 per unit.
Bindra also urged industrialists to provide maximum employment to local youth, where industrialists assured that more than 20,000 local youth would be employed in the coming months.
He also directs employment & company (DBEE) officials to prepare a database of all adolescents who meet the requirements that can be given the earliest work.
Bindra promised the young man that the right full time work would be given to them near their own home.
He also announced that the appreciation certificate would be given to the industry that had reached 100% vaccination in their place.
