Nagpur: The Central Prison Authority is now in trouble with anti-crime drives and preventive measures strongly encourage the number of inmates in barracks that have crossed the upper limit of more than 500.

Following the threat to gangster life and their competition, the Nagpur Center Prison Authority transferred many prisoners to other prisons in Maharashtra as a measure of security.
According to sources, prison is filled with prisoners because the number of those who step on the guarantee has decreased.
“Previously, there used to be a release of about 30-35 inmates every day on a guarantee.
Now, the amount of guarantee release falls to less than five,” said the source.
“There are times of entry into a steady prisoner when the police department has drives to capture criminals and put them behind bars to examine the crime rate,” the official said.
