Jaipur: Chief of Minister Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot on Monday declared hope that the newly appointed Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu will bring everyone and bring party traditions and policies.
Happy Sidhu in his appointment, Gehlot said that it had become a tradition in Congress that before the decision was taken, everyone consulted and everyone had the opportunity to express their views.
“After the previous party’s orders made a decision while remembering everyone’s opinion, after all members of the Congress followed the tradition of uniting and accepting it.
This is the biggest power of the Congress even today,” Gehlot said.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Sunday night was appointed Cricketer – Politician Sidhu as Head of the Punjab Pradesh (PPCC) Congress Committee despite the opposition from the Chairman of the Punjab Minister Amarinder Singh.
Gehlot said Singh had announced in front of the media last week that he would accept the President of the President of Congress.
“Congratulations and the best hope for Sidhu.
It is hoped he will also continue the tradition of the Congress Party and bring everyone,” he added.
