Jaipur: The Supreme Court has issued a notification to the local body department and acts Mayor Sheel Dabhai for the suspension of the Mayor of JMC-Greater Somya Gurjar.
The court has asked the government to answer within three weeks and record this problem to hear on August 24.
Somya has challenged his suspension in the High Court, but he upholds the government’s decision.
Then he approached the Supreme Court through an appeal.
Former Attorney General beat Rohatgi, arguing for Gurjar, said he was accused of speaking loudly according to Firamed by Commissioner.
He was suspended by the state government that treats him as a bad behavior.
Rohatgi said that public representatives could not be suspended from office because they spoke loudly to officials as bad behavior and it amounted to abuse of power.
Gurjar challenged his suspension in Rajasthan High Court before in section 39 (1D) of the municipality of 2009.
Commissioner Yagya Mitra Singh has accused that Gurjar and four members of the council to the Mayor’s room after calling him for a meeting 4.
He has complained to the Director of Body Local accused that he had been attacked and behaved badly.
A pine was published at the Jyoti Nagar police station against the Mayor and four board members.
The government has ordered an investigation into the incident and based on the injury report, suspends the mayor and three board members from their post on June 6.
The government also ordered judicial investigations.
