New Delhi: The cellphone number of the former Deputy Minister of Garnataka G Parameshwara and personal secretary of the Minister of HD Kumaraswamy and Siddaramaak were suspected of being chosen for the possibility of supervision ahead of the decline in the state government in July 2019, a web portal was reported on Tuesday.
Also reported that telephone numbers of an anti-caste leader and several leading activists also found in the list of numbers allegedly targeted with Israeli-based NSO Group Spyware, reporting on the web portal ‘wire’.
The report said the activists whose telephone numbers in the leaked record included Ashok Bharti, former JNU students of Umar Khalid, Anirban Bhattacharya and Banjyotsna Lahiri, academic and chronic life in the area dominated by Naxal Bela Bhatia, Delhi – Labor Rights activists based in Anjani Kumar, Alok Shukla’s anti-coal mining activist, professor of Delhi University Saroj Giri, a large-based activist Shubhranshu Choudhary and Bihar-based activist IPSA Shataksshi.
