New Delhi: The center only collects data on Covid-19 death, it does not produce it, said spokesman Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sambit Patra on Wednesday.
Health is the subject of the country, Patra shows while overcoming a press conference here, and there is no state or union area that sends data about death, especially due to lack of oxygen.
Responding to the question by the MP Congress KC Venugopal on Tuesday, during the Monsun Parliament session, on whether a large number of Covid-19 patients died on the road and hospital due to lack of oxygen in the second wave, the State Minister Dr.
Bharati Pravin Pawar told Rajya Sabha that did not exist Death due to lack of oxygen has been specially reported by the state or the United States during the second wave of Covid-19.
In a written reply, he also stated that health was the subject of the country and therefore all stated or reported cases and deaths to the Ministry of Health regularly.
“The center says that health is the country’s subject.
It is said that it only collects data, it does not produce it.
Because no country or UT is sent any data about special death due to lack of oxygen, no data for it” said BJP spokesman said.
“None of them said that deaths occurred in their states and their unions due to lack of oxygen, there was no data for it.
Does the center produce this data? No,” he added.
The government’s answer came after the second Covid-19 wave devastated that defeated the state health care infrastructure and resulted in thousands of deaths every day.
Patra further accused the AAM AADMI Party (AAP) government in Delhi and the government of Maharashtra without stopping to politicize this problem.
“On April 23 and April 24, Arvind Kejriwal said that 21 people died at the Golden Jaipur hospital because of lack of oxygen.
He conducted a press conference and was politicized.
This went to the High Court.
The Delhi government formed a committee and a report.
Submitted – he said The patient received oxygen and no one mentioned the shortcomings, “he said.
He added, “Rahul Gandhi was part of the coalition in Maharashtra and Sanjay Raut said he was surprised.
The Maharashtra High Court was given a written statement by the state government where he stated that there was no death due to lack of oxygen.” Patra further accused that many people suffered because of congressional information errors and Wayanad MP acted like Twitter trolls throughout the pandemic.
“Yesterday, a meeting was called by the Prime Minister about Covid-19 preparation for the third wave, why did AAP and Congress remained absent?” He asked.
