BETTIAH: A tussle over ownership of 2.5 kathas of land resulted in a cold blooded killing of 2 men from Basantpur village beneath the Sathi police station in West Champaran late on Saturday night. Narkatiaganj SDPO Kundan Kumar supported the killing of Binod Yadav (35) and also Rameshwar Yadav (45). “Another sufferer Amar Lal Yadav also continued grievous gunshot injuries. He’s undergoing therapy in Motihari,” that the SDPO told colleagues on the area on Sunday. Munna Yadav, that had been disputing Mahendra Yadav’s ownership of this little plot of land, also reached the place together with armed accomplices at the dead of the night. Apparently hoping to make the most of Harendra’s lack since he’d gone to attend a marriage, Munna attained the property demolished a thatched hut position on it. Binod, Harendra’s brother-in-law who’d remained behind to protect the house, was taken dead. The assailants also opened fire on others.
