Chennai: Some officials from AIDMK, AMMK, PMK and DMDK including former district secretaries, former MPE members and MLA, among others, joined the DMK in front of the party president and Minister of M-Minister M Stalin on Wednesday.
Senior DMK leaders, including the Secretary General of the S Durai Murugan Party and Principle Secretary K N Nehru, attended the occasion that saw people from the district including Namakkal, Salem, Dharmapuri, Ramanathapuram and Kankumumari joined the party.
The prominences of those who crossed from AIDMK including former Dharmapuri District Secretary M g Sekar, a former parliamentary member of Erode, including P G Govindharaj and former Mla Selvi Murgugan and former Deputy Secretary of Kanakumari Regional Secretary and former MLA A Rajan.
From ammk including the Secretary of the Southern District Namakkal P P Samination, Salem District Secretary S E Venkatokalam and District Secretary of Ramanathapuram V T N Anand and former Minister V T Natarajan, a statement from the DMK read.
