Hisar: The police on Tuesday registered a criminal case against three young men for allegedly raping a student since January 2020 and threatened to make his obscene viruses on social media if he told anyone about it.
A case was submitted after students complained to the police when the rapists bring their friends as partners in crime.
However, there is no arrest that has been made so far.
The defendant was identified as Kuldeep, a resident of Darauli Village in Hisar District, his cousin Sombir alias Sonu and their friends.
They have been ordered below section 328 (causing toxic injuries, with the intention of committing violations), 366 (abduction), 376 (2) (n) (recurring rape), 376-D (Gang Rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) from the Indian punishment code.
In his complaint, the girl said he came to live with relatives in Hisar for BSC coaching and met Kuldeep at The Coaching Institute.
He said they attacked friendship and a few days later, Kuldeep proposed a marriage to him.
However, he refused, said he would marry according to his family’s wishes, he said.
According to complaints, on January 7, 2020, Kuldeep took his cousin to the Institute and bought a bottle of cold drink.
He offered a cold drink to the girl, who fainted after drinking it.
With the pretext of taking him to the hospital, the duo took him to a room in an unknown place and raped him, he said.
At night, they left him at his relatives’ house and warned him not to complain against them, said they had taken obscene pictures of him and would put them on social media, he said.
Worried about slander, the girl did not reveal his trials to anyone and the defendant continued to exploit him sexually.
However, on July 8 this year, when Kuldeep also took another young man to rape him, the girl told her family members about all problems, and then the police.
(The identity of the victim has not been revealed to protect its privacy according to the direction of the Supreme Court about cases related to sexual violence)
