Mumbai: The Thane Session Court has provided a guarantee to a builder who was arrested for allegedly climbing a woman’s drink, introducing it and recording action on the phone.
Additional session Judge P M Gupta ordered the release of Jafar Ahmed Shaikh to the guarantee of the furniture of RS 50,000 private bonds and imposed other conditions.
On May 2, the complainant visited the Thane Shaike office to ask about a shop when the alleged incident occurred.
He also accused him of threatening to endanger him and his cherial if he revealed the incident to anyone.
He alleged that he tried to rape him again on May 16.
On May 19, he filed co-mplatte and he was arrested.
Lawyer Shaikh Sunil Pandey argues that he reported the incident after 17 days and allapsing him and his friend frame the builder to extract money from him.
Against Plea Bail, the police said there was enough material to show that he had committed a violation.
The court said the woman paid 10% of the cost by check even though the bank account was not active since March.
He also wore the same dress on his second visit even though FIR said it was torn when he was suspected of being raped on May 2, and while FIR said he was div-orced, in a chat with the builder he said his husband died of him.
“In the occurrence of a serious incident, a woman’s natural behavior will cut all the relationships with the defendant, instead he relates to him …” said the court, adding that Chargesheet had been submitted and there.
It is less likely that he might run away if released on a guarantee.
