SURAT: Diamond City on Sunday listed 284 new cases and 2 deaths, although the recovery rate at town climbed to 95.21 percent with 609 greater Covid patients getting discharged from other hospitals around Sunday. Based on Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) officials, the Rander zone reported that the greatest daily Covid-19 instances for the past couple of times and Sunday, it listed 79 instances followed closely by Athwa zone that listed 75 instances. The Central zone listed the lowest daily disease cases with 16. One of the two girls who died, one has been a 58-year-old resident out of Tadvadi and another had been a 65-year-old Dindoli resident. As of Sunday, 28,520 individuals were under home quarantine and 1,150 were treated in a variety of hospitals in town. Surat district captured 161 new cases and five deaths on Sunday. The death toll because of coronavirus from Surat district has attained 440.
