Gurgaon: The joint team of officials from the DTCP, Manual and District Administration company on Thursday examined the rainy harvesting system (RWH) installed in the housing community in the new Dwarka sectors.
People who have a partially or not treated RWH structure have been given time to fix problems within a week.
Drive enforcement, in fact, began last week with the direction of the Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner to ensure the compliance with rigorous rainwater harvest structures in the housing community to promote water conservation in the city.
While the RWH system has been made mandatory for the housing complex, the compliance is bad even though the city witnesses thinning on the surface of the water with every year.
On Thursday, the shared team led by DTP (enforcement) Batth Hospital visited Sare Homes, Raheja Navodaya, Ansal Heights and Spaze Privy Housing Society to check the condition of housing systems in the community.
During inspection, the team suggested several modifications and improvements in the RWH Systems of Sare Homes and Raheja Navodaya.
BATTH said, “We have done inspections throughout the city since last week to check the functionality of RWH structures.
There are around 13 RWH holes in Sare’s house and most of them are not cleaned.
I have directed Rwa to clean it in a week and cover the same thing.
Problems With the RWH system in Navodaya reviewed by a technical team.
We will check 25 projects throughout the city next week.
“Hariom Vishwakarma, President of Rwa from Sare Homes, said that all observations made during the visit will be fulfilled.
“Our RWA was formed in April this year.
Because a number of Covid cases in the Post-April community, we got less time for the maintenance of RWH holes.
We have been told to clean the hole, which will be done in two or three days.”
