Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Thursday said they had identified 2.5 hectares of land in the place of Biju Patnaik International Airport to place the iconic Dakota flown by former Main Minister Biju Patnaik and search for NOC from the same Indian Airport Authority (AAI).
The Ministry of Trade and Transportation recently written to the Civil Service Ministry to request AAI for NOC issuance and permission on the principle to position the Dakota aircraft on the selected site, which is located near the entrance to the International Biju Patnaik and close to the Airport and Building Police Station Administration of the airport director.
