It’s been almost three years since Apple launched a new airpods variant.
Airpods Pro was launched in October 2019 and since then there are only rumors about the next variant.
These rumors have collected steps in the past few months and the latest is a clue in airpods that arrived faster.
According to a report by digitimes, Apple can launch a new airpod model in September with the iPhone 13.
Reports citing the source that “flexible circuit boards shipment has begun for the next generation airpod model”.
The source, the report said, has suggested that the new airpod can arrive with the new iPhone on Apple’s many anticipated in September.
Note that this will not be an upgrade from pro airpods but ordinary airpod.
What we know so far about the expected airpods, the next generation of airpod is expected to have the same design philosophy as pro airpods.
They are expected to display shorter stems and discard the design that Apple was first introduced almost six years ago.
The active noise cancellation feature is not expected to be part of the new airpod.
However, we can expect the spatial head-tracking audio feature and Dolby Atmos music support.
We can also expect the new chip to be in new airpods.
Mills rumors may refer to the airpods that will come as ‘airpods 3’ but don’t expect Apple sticking to the nomenclature.
There is no word about whether Apple will add new colors to airpods or maintain the All-White color scheme only for the next gene from true wireless earbuds.
The price of a new airpod is expected to be very similar to the existing model, which starts only below the RS 15,000 in India.
