LONDON: The European Medicine Agency has recommended to approve the modern Covid-19 vaccine for children aged 12 to 17 years, first shots have been authorized for people under 18 years.
In a decision on Friday, the UE drug regulator said in more than 3,700 children aged 12 to 17 years showed that modern vaccines – have provided ok for adults throughout Europe – produce comparable antibody responses.
Until now, vaccines made by Pfizer and German partners Biontech have become the only choice for children in North America and Europe.
