New Delhi: Member Geng Thak targets MLA’s wife sitting and stealing around Rs 2 lakh in cash and other valuables.
The police said that criminals targeted Gupta Kanika cars, Vivek Gupta’s wife, former member of the Rajyasabha parliament from the Trinmool Congress and currently a MLA, in BRT stretched in Southeast Delhi.
Those people are made with cash 1.9 lakh Rs, iPhone, gold coins and several documents.
The incident was reported at around 2:30 p.m.
on Friday.
Gupta told the police that he was in his car with a driver and had reached the Defense Colony Flyover when a man on a motorcycle pointed to a flat tire.
The driver came out to check it when another biker showed the smoke out of the hood, and Gupta came out of the vehicle in a hurry.
The first biker took the opportunity to grab his bag in the back seat and escape.
A FIR has been registered.
The investigation has revealed criminals throwing machine oil on the hood, which heat up and cause smoke from the car.
