Jaipur: Rajasthan on Friday reached number four positions in this country in terms of giving more than 3 crore doses for covid-19 healing.
Also, 31% of the total population of the state now has at least one dose.
On Friday, by giving 1,34,495 doses, the state has crossed 3 crore marks because since the beginning of the vaccination program on January 16 The state has so far been given 3.00.82,297 doses.
Health Minister Raghu Sharma congratulated doctors and health workers to reach a milestone, but urged the center to send more vaccines to the country.
“We have the capacity to vaccinate at least 15 people lakh per day.
I repeat my request to the center to send a vaccine on a bigger amount,” he added.
Rajasthan now is the fourth country after Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat where more than 3 crore vaccines have been given.
However, the vaccine crisis continued on Friday because there were no new lots arriving.
“On Saturday, more than 90% of vaccination centers at least 25 districts will face crisis and affected because we have very few vaccines left,” said Dr.
