Ranchi: With the Holy Month of Shravan starting on Sunday, the administration makes extra preparation for enforcing the Covid-19 protocol.
According to Hindu beliefs, Shravan is a good month to look for thanks to God Shiva.
The worshipers at Lakh visited the Temple stand out throughout the state so far this year and especially on Monday.
But given the situation of Covid-19, the state government has continued the ban on a large-scale religious church, regardless of the demands of several BJP leaders to reopen the temple for worshipers.
In Deoghar, who was home to the Temple of Baba Baidyanath Dham, the district government on Saturday gave the last touch with readiness to ensure that no worshipers were permitted in the temple in accordance with the government dictates.
Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri along with other officials visited various places in all districts to take stock of administrative preparation.
Speaking to Toi, Bhajantri said, “We are ready for the smooth behavior of the Moon Shravan, worshipers and Mela this time because of Covid-19.
All land work has been completed and the team has been deployed in a sensitive bag.” As part of the strategy, the district government has installed Points at five main intersections along the boundary between countries and between districts to prevent worshipers from braking.
Check points have been installed in Dumma More, Bardmara, Andrigadan, Jainpur More and Chakai.
“In all this place, we have deployed a quick response team (QRTS).
In the city, all the way to the temple has been sealed,” he said.
Simultaneously, the district government has held an awareness of drives throughout the district and along Bihar told worshipers about the ban on temples.
“We are specially vigilant near Sultanganj, along the border of Bihar, from where Kanwariyas brings holy water to offer God Shiva.
It’s separate, we have installed a conscious board to announce the ban on worshipers,” he said, adding that Puja in the temple will be done as usual.
“The ritual will go directly every day at Jhargov.tv,” he said.
Similar steps have been put in Dumka too, which are famous for their Bukukinath temple.
In Ranchi, where a number of people visited Pahian Temple during Shravan, officials said they had made arrangements for Puja and Darshan online.
“One can observe the ritual through pahadimandirranchi.com and can also order special puja online,” said Abhishek Anand, Treasurer of the temple.
He added that they would keep the main gate of the temple closed for the general public on all days.
