Angul: The police in Angul on Friday arrested one pradyumnya Sahu for fraud based on complaints submitted by Abhishek Pradhan, representatives of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (Amul).
In his complaint it was filed on Friday, Abhishek said that in October last year Similiguda’s pradyum was given a franchise to run Amul retail outlets at Angul Town.
The complaint stated that his pradyum abused the agreement and then distributors to one Subrat Sahoo from Talcher Town without the company’s knowledge.
For this reason, his pradyum has taken around Rs 1 lakh from Subrates.
His pradyum gave him a forged company document confirming the agreement and also introduced one Mohanty Pramod as Amul branch manager in Cuttack.
After a while Subrat realized that he had been cheated and filed a complaint to the police.
On July 3, Subrates approached Abhishek and told him about the entire incident, after FIR filed against his pradyum.
Angul SP Jagmohan Meena said Pradyumna had been ordered for cheating and forgery.
