KATHMANDU: Nepal’s political crisis took a remarkable twist on Friday because embattled PM K Sharma Oli and also the resistance parties staked independent claims for the creation of a new administration by submitting letters of support by lawmakers into President Bidya Devi Bhandari. Oli attained the president’s office and introduced his record a few minutes before the resistance leaders. He maintained aid of 121 lawmakers from his party CPNUML along with 32 lawmakers of both Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal (JSP-N) because of his reappointment pursuant to Article 76(5) of this Constitution. JSP-N president Mahantha Thakur, JSP-N Parliamentary Party leader Rajendra Mahato and Oli’d signed the correspondence submitted to the President,” CPN-UML chief Bishnu Rimal was quoted as saying in The Himalayan Times. Before, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba promised to have gained the help of 149 lawmakers. The resistance’s decision came following Oli allegedly expressed unwillingness on Thursday to get a second floor evaluation to demonstrate his government’s majority in the House of Representatives. Bhandari on Friday advised the opposition alliance which she’ll find guidance from constitutional specialists prior to taking a call to authorities formation.
