Chennai: Ten men who came looking for a disease accused, releasing terror in Pallavarmedu in Kancheepuram Regency on Saturday night, throwing state bombs and hacking her brother, police said.
The gang also attacked two women and a man before escaping.
Raghu, the man who wants a gang, managed to escape.
The deceased was identified as Senthil, Brother Raghu.
The incident occurred when at least 20 people gathered at home to observe the 13th day ritual of Raghu’s father who died.
Around 11:30 a.m., some family members were talking under Shamiana when the country bomb was thrown into a compound wall.
Within minutes, the 10 men entered.
While most men managed to escape, gang members began to attack two women, ask them about the existence of Raghu.
Police said Raghu was involved in two murders including a man named Prabhakan in 2013.
In 2014, to avenge Prabhakan’s murder, the gang hacked Saravanan’s brother Raghu to death.
Two weeks ago, Raghu’s father died and the ritual was underway on Saturday.
The 10 people entered the place after learning that Raghu came to attend the ritual saw it scale the wall and escape.
His brother Senthil, a driver of the Autorickshaw, came out to hear the voice and saw the women and the others were attacked.
He tried to run away but was in vain when the gang circled him on a dead end.
They hacked it with machetes and destroyed his face with a large stone to make sure he was dead.
They then fled on their bikes.
Senthil’s wife, her daughter and her husband suffered injury and now at the hospital.
Kancheepuram police register a case.
Senthil’s body was sent to the government hospital for post-mortem and hunting launched for murderers.
