Thane: Senior Care / Pension Court here in Maharashtra has directed a woman and her husband to pay the maintenance of Rs 3,000 per month to his old parents.
Tribunal presiding officers and Bhiwandi’s sub-division officers, Dr.
Mohan Nadalkar gave orders on July 14 and the copy was available on Saturday.
The old woman (age was not mentioned in the order), a resident of Bhiwandi City in the Thane District, has submitted a petition before the court to her daughter and daughter-in-law.
In his request, the Petitioner said his husband was not stable mentally and he had worked as a domestic aid to defend their livelihoods.
The woman also said she bought a house in 2016 for Rs 5:30 lakh.
However, his daughter, took advantage that the illiterate applicant was allegedly received a house transferred in his name by forging documents.
Princess and her husband were then thought to threaten old parents and also tried to throw it from the house, the Petitioner said.
A violation was later registered with them with Nizampura police in Bhiwandi and the old woman then approached the court.
Courts, in accordance with the direction of the Supreme Court and the provisions of the maintenance and welfare of parents and senior citizens ACT, 2007, ordered monthly maintenance payments to the applicant and her husband.
It was also said that there was a need to find justice from the Civilior about disputes about home purchase documents.
The court directed the Petitioner’s and daughter-in-law’s daughter not to drive parents from home until the problem was decided by a civil court.
