Hyderabad: The District Consumer Forum is here on Sunday Instriped Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) to pay Rs 15.5 lakh to the complainant who filed a case on behalf of his grandson for refusing their claim by quoting the unprobeivity.
K Ramulu, the complainant, who is the grandfather and law guard of his two young granddaughters, submitted that his son obtained two insurance policies for a number of insurance insurance bounds 5 lakh under Jeevan Anand and the insurance coverage of Rs 10 lakh under the Bima Gold.

The bench noticed that the died sons of complainant had stated six policies and skipped stating only one of the previous policies.
In the oppression of chronic liver disease in the form of a proposal, the bench noticed that according to the summary of the release on June 13, 2012, the insured had a chronic disease over the past six months, while the policy was taken on July 27, 2011.
“There are no records that indicate that the complainant deliberately suppressed the facts, “The bench said, and directed LIC to pay the amount of insurance along with a 9% interest.
Regardless of compensation, RS 5,000 is given at the complaint fee.
