New York: The Federal Reserve chair, always looking for signs of inflation, might want to stop by the northeast side of Manhattan, where a plate of $ 200 fries stretched the definition of Haute cuisine.
Serendipity 3 restaurant has claimed a world record for the most expensive burgers ($ 295) and ice cream Sundae ($ 1,000), so if the question is, “Do you want fries with it?” The answer is yes.

On July 13, the fries are officially the most expensive on earth.
“Serendipity is really a happy place,” said the Creative Director and Chef Joe Calderone.
“People come here to celebrate, sometimes run away from the reality of life.” Frites crème de la crème pomm began as chipperbec potatoes.
They palped, or stale, in vinegar and champagne.
Then they fry pure swan fat, not oil, and not all, so they crispy outside and expand inside.
Sprinkled with edible gold and flavored with truffle salts and truffle oil, they are served on a crystal plate with orchids, thinly sliced truffles, and Mornay cheese sauce.
The sauce is also infused with truffles, rare seasonal mushrooms.
“Truffle is the main star here,” said Chef Executive Corporate Frederick Schoewert.
Like many restaurants, it happened to be closed during a pandemic and Calderone Covid-19 and Schoen-Kiewert thought luxurious fries would be a good way to repeat.

There is a waiting list eight to 10 weeks for fries.
“It’s a rough child and half for everyone, and we need fun now,” Calderone said.
