Hyderabad: School in Hyderabad seems to take a few hard steps with children whose parents do not pay full fees during the ongoing pandemics.
‘Master of Litigan’, ‘Dropout’, ‘No Paid Costs’ are some of the comments mentioned by several private schools about students’ transfer certificates (TC), whose parents question management to violate cost regulation norms.
Many parents tell this toi is a practice that will affect the future prospects of their children.
Despite the fact that the statement will make it difficult for them to enter other schools, TC is an important document that must be presented in different situations.
Students may have to face questions and humiliation every time TC is served, parents are afraid.
Transfer certificate issued by the school in Hyderbad, “How am I a weak parent? I am among those who ask for school to follow the number 46 at a cost.
Now the school has mentioned ‘parent Lawangant’ on TC my child,” said Shaik Sikindar , which took TC for his son who studied in class V of Niraj Public School, Ameerpet.
He said that at first he checked the details of his son and did not see the comments by school for more than a month.
“Until other parents called and asked about that comment, I didn’t realize it,” he said.
Another old man, who took TCS for his children to study in class IV and VI from the same school, said that he also found ‘Litigan’s parents’ in TC of his children.
“My child studied at school for the past eight years.
We never asked them about anything,” he said.
“During a pandemic, because of financial constraints, we approach schools and management do not respect parents.
In the end, they rewarded us with this comment,” he said.
Jivitesh Reddy B, Principal Niraj claimed that the comments were mentioned at TCS only four to five students, whose parents damaged the school’s reputation.
“We want to remind the next school about parents like what they will handle,” Reddy said.
The principal claims that even though the school does not violate the norms, parents continue to write against school department officials to schools and others.
Other schools in Bowenpally are said to mention ‘dropouts’ or ‘not promoted’ on the TCS of Fee Defaulisters.
“When I went to apply for TC for my younger daughter, they told me that if I failed to clean up contributions, they would mention ‘drop out of school’ in my child’s TC,” said parents of class III students.
He said that even though the country has promoted all students and asked for school not to insist on TCS, there were no rules applied on the ground.
“One and a half years of education my child is in vain.
I have no choice but to wait until I need money to clean the contribution,” added parents.
Many also claim that their children were given TCS without applying for documents when they participated in protests against the school.
“School my son gave him TC claiming that I did post school on social media.
I have never made such a post.
I have submitted my opinion about the cost concessions in the parents’ group,” said parents of grade 1 students, Glendale International School, Bandlaguda.
Minu Saloeja, assistant school director, however, said that the school did not give TC to any student force.
“It is true that we have sent advanced intimacy who said to choose other schools if parents were not happy with us, but did not give TCS force,” he said.
