Bhubaneswar: Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) directed the Secondary Education Board (BSE) on Monday not to continue with an offline examination of grade 10 students Middle school certificate (HSC) against 139 different special school students.
OHRC wondered why BSE insisted on checking offline mode from different students when the results of the lakh public school students have been published without checks and based on signs in class 9 and 10.
BSE has decided to conduct an HSC examination from those who want to take the written exam and 139 special school students specifically through offline mode on July 30.

The applicant said the BSE decision as it was not only arbitrary, but also intended to put different students in trouble during Covid-19 pandemic.
Taking a very serious view of this problem, the Commission said it did not find justification on the BSE section for such decisions, and called “shocking”.
While waiting for the final decision about this problem, he asked the BSE secretary not to continue with offline checks from different students until the next hearing date.
The rights panel warns that if something unwanted happens in this case affects the interests of different students, it will be the only risk of BSE and officers concerned.
OHRC posted this problem on August 6 for further hearing.
