Colva: Two little girls were raped by four young men posing as police at the Benaulim Beach early Sunday.
Defendant, Asif Hateli, 21, from the Housing Board of Margao, Rajesh Mane, 33, Gajanand Chinchankar, 31, and Nitin Yabbal, 19, all of Zariwadi-Davorlim, who were arrested by Colva police on Sunday night, also threatened.

Part of the group had left the beach early because of the bad weather, leaving three boys and two little girls behind.
When the girls approached their car at 3:30 a.m., the four were accused of dealing with them.
Posing as a police officer – one even brought Danda – they threatened to capture groups of children.
They then slapped the three boys, threw alcohol into the eyes of one of them, and persecuted the girls.
One defendant was reportedly dragging one of two girls into the car, but he managed to open the door and fled to the beach.
The defendant, however, followed him, dragged him into vegetation along the coast, and raped him.
Another accusation brought a second girl to an isolated place, where she raped her.
The group was then allowed to go home.
During the day on Sunday, one of the boys received a call demanding Rs payment of 40,000 before the end of July and the other RS ​​25,000 the following month.
He was told that if the money was not accepted, the images would be posted on the social media platform.
When the two victims survived this matter, they decided to file a police complaint.
It helped that one of the victims of a boy had recognized the one accused.
The four defendants were rounded out by the Colva police on Sunday night and were ordered with the provisions of the IPC, Act Pocso and ACT of Goa children.
They were produced before the judge sent it in a police custody of four days.
Police Inspector Colva Anand Shirodkar said the investigation was underway.
