Advanced Earth System Model (ESM), which was developed at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) of the Ministry, is the first climate model from South Asia which has contributed to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Assessment Report of the Sixth (AR6).
The first part of the AR6 – The Physical Science Basis of Climate Change – will be released on August 9.

“Portal, developed using information technology tools, aligned with the initiative Digital India from the government to transform the country into a society and knowledge economy powered digitally.
This will facilitate the search and retrieval of data science Earth system (atmosphere, oceans, poles, geoscience and seismology) for the benefit of society in a big way, “said Rajeevan.
Singh also launched a new web site Moes will provide more user-friendly interface and cyber security experience to the public and release a book that discusses new tools for oil exploration.
