DUMKA: The BJP District Unit will launch Satyagraha Five days since July 30 to illegal mining and mineral transportation and ‘deteriorating law and order situation in Santhal-Pargana’, Lois Marandi Party leader said on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters here, Lois said that BJP cadres from all districts will observe Dharna in Phulo Jhano Chowk along the ring road.
“BJP senior leaders, including former Babulal Marandi’s main minister, and others from state leadership will also participate.” Referring to the ultimatum issued by the party to the district government to take for the assignment of illegal miners, Lois said, “The government does not pay attention to the ultimatum of their 10 days given to them to curb situations and now we are forced to hit the streets.” On July 14, the party unit has submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner and SP, giving a 10-day deadline to stop the mining of stone, coal, and non-feather sand from the Shikaripara block and other bags, and illegal transportation, which caused losses to state state.
This party has time and again claims that the illegal miner works with gloves with Dumka Mla Soren JMM.
“MLA’s silence on his allegations about him to close his eyes to mining and illegal transportation through the established network itself is a testimony for his involvement,” Lois said.
Speaking of the legal and order situation, Lois said that the situation turned worse with every day passing.
