Gurgaon: The leading retail shop executive allegedly robbed of Rs 80,000 after he was offered an elevator from the Ambience Mall.
According to the police, he was waiting for public transportation when a Cabdie offered him.
Pranab Gupta, residents of Uttam Nagar Delhi, worked with the leading retail chain shop at Mall Ambience.
On July 23, after completing Pranab’s work was waiting at Shankar Chowk at around 10:15 a.m.

“A cabin approached me and offered a ride.
I boarded his car,” said Pranab, adding that four people, including the driver, had sat inside.
Everyone wore a mask.
After closing the distance, Pranab was asked to change seats with the person sitting in the middle when he felt nauseous.
“They stopped the taxi and made me sit in the middle.
Immediately, they tied my hand and hugged me hostage,” he said.
Pranab added that the defendant took his debit card, directed the SIM, and the Aadhaar card and attacked him with sharp objects to get the details of the password.
“I gave them the wrong password.
They tried to withdraw money from the ATM in Mahipalpur but the card was locked because of the wrong entries.
They tried it at another ATM but the card was locked.
They then cut me,” he said.
Then, the robbers made Pranab distributing his cellphone’s wallet details and transferring RS 80,000 from his bank account.
“They dumped me near Mahipalpur.
With the help of commuting I contacted my family and they took me to the hospital,” he added.
On July 26 (Monday), after being removed from the hospital, he submitted a complaint after the case registered in part 379A (grabbing) and 34 (general intentions) of the IPC at the Vihar UDYOG police station.
In another case, Rafiq (30), a taxi driver who worked with an application-based taxi aggregator, received a booking on Monday night from Rajiv Chowk.
“At the pickup point, two people took a taxi and asked me to drop them to Garhi Harsaru.
After a while, one of them put a gun in my head and asked to stop the taxi.
When I refused, another defendant put a few sharp objects on my neck , Fear of my salvation, I stopped the car, “Rafiq said.
The defendant dragged him out of the car and grabbed his car, cellphone and cash.
The case was submitted below section 379B (grabbed using force) and 34 (general intentions) IPC at the Sector Police Station 10.
