Kolkata: Police Hastings has submitted a case of unnatural death and began an investigation into the death of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Vice President Raju Sarkar on Monday night.
The police went to the BJP office in Hastings on Tuesday and checked the CCTV footage of the building, especially those near the room where the Morcha State Committee meeting was detained.
BJP, on the other hand, claimed that they were ready to work with the police, but claimed that they would also look for answers to the problem of “medical negligence” while treating critical patients.
The police also spoke around a dozen colleagues Sarkar.
Hastings OC also talked to the building responsible for the incident.
“We had, Prima Facie, found no sign of an external injury in Sarkar’s body.
No one has complained.
We will ensure our next step after receiving the post-mortem report,” said an officer who investigated this case.

“Our door is open to the police and they can question what they want.
The State Government is now trying to find a mystery in his death.
The mystery lies in the fact that the SSKM hospital does not recognize patients in such a critical condition,” said Bengal spokesman BJP Shamik Bhattacharya.
