New Delhi: Speaker Lok Sabha Om Birla on Thursday postponed the home process until 11:30 am in the middle of protest, and also expressed displeasure of the behavior that was difficult to regulate by several opposition members on Wednesday.
When the house convened for that day, the speaker said he was “very painful” for the incident on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, when letters were placed at home, members of the Gurjeet Aujala Congress, Prathapan TN, Eden Hibi and several others threw business papers today and pieces of paper and placards in the chair.
A piece of torn placard landed in the press gallery right on the speaker podium.
Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the leader of the congress at Lok Sabha, said the opposition has not been able to lead to him because of the stubborn attitude of the government.
The Minister of Parliament Pralhad Joshi said the members who were forced to tear the paper did not even want to apologize.
As a protest continued, Birla’s speaker postponed the trial.
Opposition members have protested Pegasus’s controversy and three agricultural bills.
