Kwon Mina, former AOA member, still fainted after he tried to end his life on Thursday morning.
According to an exclusive report on Hankook Ilbo, Kwon Mina tried to commit suicide at his home, but was found by an acquaintance and rushed to the hospital where he underwent an emergency surgery.
The next report stated that the star acquaintance went to check it after he could not contact him.
The woman who found Kwon Mina was called an emergency service and took her to the hospital.
He reportedly received emergency treatment for excessive bleeding and is currently recovering.
It has also been confirmed that his life is currently not in danger.
However, he still had to get back awareness.
The shocking news came only for hours after the star went down to his handle to raise a long record to issue an apology to his fans following a series of controversy.
From bad blood between AOA members to the cheating scandal involving his ex-girlfriend, Mina had challenged the storm and turned off social media.
Even though the star promised his fans to get off the social media on several occasions, he often found himself back every time.
On July 28, he uploaded a long handwritten letter apologizing for his words and actions and apologized to his fans for violating his promise.
