JAMSHEDPUR: With a new Covid-19 case which was reduced into droplets in Jamshedpur and in all East Singhbhum Regency, his satisfaction of the residents in participating in the right Covid-19 behavior had made the regional government worried.
On Monday, the district did not report new infections.
On average, this district reports one to five cases every day.
“Many people don’t wear masks in public places.
We torture around 100 people like that every day,” said the special medical head from Sahir Pall.
On July 1 and July 15, a study was conducted at 4,400 people who visited the office of the Civil Surgeon.
This study revealed that 19% of all visitors did not wear masks.
Now, the department aims to conduct similar studies in a busy and crowded area in the city.
“More than 2,000 people are playing at the Tananagar train station for Covid-19 every day,” said health officials.
“Police and civil administration regularly carry out routine inspections and surprises in public places to arrest and discipline offenders but people also have to take rules seriously and show the expected behavior of them during a pandemic,” added Pall.
Singhbhum Timur reported 10 deaths and 458 new Covid-19 infections between June 15 and July 27 this year.
Close to 1,100 people have died and 52,000 people have been infected in this district since the pandemics broke out in May 2020.
