Jharkhand HC on Thursday said the alleged murder of advocates in Ranchi and an additional district judge in Dhanbad was a direct attack on the “Justice dispensation system”, reported Chandrajit Mukherjee.
While Advocate Manoj Jha was shot dead by unknown people in Tamar on Monday, a murder case was submitted by the Jharkhand police on Thursday in the case of additional district judges in Dhanbad Uttam Anand.
On Thursday, the division bench from Chief Justice Dr.
Ravi Rajan and Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad heard Anand’s death problems.
The bench attracted the Dhanbad SSP – which was also present at the trial – for the delay in registering firs as submitted more than 12 hours after the incident.
The judges observed that “officers and judicial advocates have never been harmed even in volatile countries in the northeast.”
