Ranchi: Jharkhand Village – Haradag Khurd in Garhwa District – has been included in the detection of high-anniversaries as many as 21 positive villagers of Covid-19 in a short range two days after returning migrant workers from Madhya Pradesh, officials said.
21 including eight children in the age group 2 and 12 years have been treated at conscious Hospital, Garhwa and all their contacts are isolated.
Among the people who returned from the Kolliery Madhya Pradesh area where the Delta transmission variant was detected, a worker was found positive at first and the alleged villagers may have captured infection from him.
“Initially 19 villagers were found positive and then two more were tested positive.
Everything has been received at Garhwa Hospital, we take all possible steps to contain the spread of the virus and have maintained high-ranking officials in the area,” additional Jharkhand Secretary of Head, Arun Health Kumar Singh told.
