All Drax fans may have no reason to rejoice because actors recently revealed that he was preparing a “bitter” exit of the Marvel cinematic universe.
Bautista was wrapped in filming in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ earlier this year and said he hoped to start production on his last MCU film, ‘Guardian Galaxy’ Vol.
3, in October.
In an interview with a magazine, during the promotion, the actor admitted that he was not sure “what happened in the future for other galaxy guards”, but said the time to play, the destroyer was almost over.
“I don’t know whether they will move forward with characters or with guardians at all [after guardians 3], I might have to read the table but they really even have to force me to do it.
I like not in hopelessness, you know, because I am a fan, “he said, added that he had chosen to refrain from reading the script for the upcoming installments.
Bautista also teases that if everything goes according to plan, then he will finish production on ‘Guardian 3’ in April which states that the day will be the end of his journey.
“It has become a trip with the cast and guardian and the whole Marvel Universe, I feel like it really launches my career.
And I kind of wrapped the part of my trip, so it was very bitter, things,” he told him.
The former WWE star also added that there was one last thing he would like to bring the character of the MCU – “more muscle”.
“In the first film, Drax just appeared very funny.
I think they just want to use more than that, and that’s what falls in love with the audience.
So we never really have to see Drax Destroyer,” Bautista explained.
He added, “Maybe there will be a chance in Guardian 3 so I won’t feel like something left on the table.
I want to bring some physically from wrestling into the Marvel universe, and I’m just heaven.
‘Don’t have a chance.”
The actor is currently filming in Greece for ‘Knife 2’ with Janelle Monae, Kate Hudson, Kathryn Hahn, Edward Norton, and Leslie Odom Jr.
Not much detail was revealed about the second installment plot in the Whodunit Rian Johnson series, but Bautista teases “great” characters and a more thrilling story to the magazine.
“I really thought it would be just as good, if it’s not better, than the first.
I’m always afraid to say that because I don’t want anything offended saying that we will get better, but I would be better, but I’m right -Tar think this, I think the character is far more colorful, “he said.
