Ahmedabad: A 28-year-old Thaltej resident accused her husband forced their eight-year-old child to sleep on the floor and tortured him because he was a daughter.
He alleged that he would struggle with both of them when angry and would not even give seeds so he could cook food for the child.
Submitting a complaint with a female police (west), he said that her husband crashed into their daughter on her forehead with her cellphone, pushing her to leave home.
