Panaji: Opposition Mlaas on Friday walked to the legislative unit wearing a black arm in protest the statement made by the Head of the Sawant Pramod minister in the Gangrape Benaulim case and also to register their protest against the increasing incidence of rape in the state.
During the past seven days, two more rape cases have been reported in the state other than the incident in the Benaulim.

He said the safety and security of children was collective responsibility, but it was not possible,” Fatorda GFP Mla Vijai Sardesai told reporters on the sidelines of the rainy season assembly session.
