Wr cross the 100-crore sign by selling scrap

Ahmedabad: As part of the urge to make all train companies and free memo units, under “Mission Zero Scrap”, The Western Railway, in the current financial year, has crossed Rs 100 Crore with sales memos.
According to press releases, it is better to mention that even though the uncertain and difficult time from the Pandemic Covid-19, Western Railway not only reached the heavy duty of the RS sales target.
410 Crores in the financial year 2020-21 but also exceeded the substantial margin of 20%.

491.04 crores at 2020-21, making it the highest among all zonal trains & Indian train production units.
Officials added that in the last three years, Western Railway consistently sold memos around RS 500 crores which have assisted in monetizing congestion funds and generation of consequences of income.
Continuing with the Mission Zero Scrap march, Western Railway became the first train to cross the first milestone Rs.100 CR on July 30, 2021 by selling scrap worth Rs.102.32 Crores.
The Western train has set a target to make the train zone fully scrap free & aim to achieve 100% free memo status in all workplaces at the end of the year.
