Nagpur: A retired nurse was tricked by RS22.95 lakh by two cheats online last month.
He learned to lose all retirement benefits in fraud.
Mangala Fuse, 62, a retired nurse with a college and hospital assisted by the government, then approached the Sonegaon police who registered a violation of cheating on the duo.
Learned that the fuse has received a friend request from social media users, who have identified himself as Alex Joe from England, in the first week of July.
Trickster lured the fuse, stating he would immediately shift to Nagpur with Mother and then told him to receive valuables and medicines sent by more than RS6 Lakh.
Furthermore, the fuse received a call from a woman, identified as Namrata Sharma from the Customs Department, who said the RS40,000 task should be paid for gifts or RS50,000 sentences will be collected.
After the fuse deposited cash, Sharma continued to ask for more money from him until he had to leave RS22.95 lakh, and approach the police.
