Bar Telangana Reg from agricultural land is less than 20 Guntas

Hyderabad: The administration of the city of Telangana and the Urban Development Department (MA & UD) has told the registration department and stamps not to register agricultural land or plot under 20 guntas (2,000 square meters).
This step occurred after officials realized that some property developers registered the open plot in illegal layout on behalf of ‘agricultural plots’.
Unauthorized Layout Registration was prohibited by the State Government in September 2020.
Sources said the developer crashed into this idea after making efforts to sell land that was not approved in a non-approved layout and venture projects that were not approved by buyers Easy to be fooled (Rera).
Developers try to take advantage of the fact that someone does not require a copy of the layout to register for agriculture.
“In addition to stopping the registration of agricultural plots under 20 Guntas, we also request the registration department to insist on a copy of the layout if the agricultural plot is bordered by a new road,” said the Supreme Secretary of the MA & UD Kumar to Stoi.
He said the decision to stop registration of plots in an invalid layout had been paid dividends and the government was able to control illegal efforts throughout the state.
The government prohibits non-agricultural property registration that does not have a copy of the layout if there are open plots or sanction plans if the building occurs.
Following this decision, thousands of layouts, developed without seeking approval from civil bodies, stuck as layout and plots cannot be regulated with the Layout Regularization scheme (LRS).
Immediately after banning illegal plots, 25 lakh applications were submitted under LRS, an official said.
