Actress Gehana Vasisth, who currently comes out on a guarantee in a porn scandal involving Shilpa’s husband Shetty Raj Kundra, has claimed that Mumbai police demanded bribery RS 15 Lakh to avoid his arrest.
According to a report about IndiaToday.com, the actress claimed that the police team who came to take her to detention had demanded bribery to avoid arrest and allegedly even threatening it.
In a statement to Portal, Gehana said that the police wanted money to release him, but when he protested said that he was not wrong, “they said, we could make any case against anyone.”

The actress also discussed the WhatsApp chat between the Defendant – Yash Thakur aka Arvindkumar Shrivastava and Hashmi Tanveer – and their arrangement for Rs 8 Lakh.
He claimed that because the police demanded money.
Vasisth was arrested in February 2021 and was jailed for almost four months.
He has now submitted a pre-arrest anticipatory guarantee, which will be heard at the Dindoshi court on Tuesday.
His lawyer Sunil Kumar confirmed his development, added, “We have transferred the court for pre-arrest anticipatory guarantees because it is possible he will be captured by the police”.

The actress had previously spoken to Etimes and said, “I will not go to the police because you know the last time the police gave the wrong detail about how my arrest took place.
I waited for a copy of my cost sheet to tell the world about the wrong information given to the media In my case.
”
Gehana also expressed his fear of the police to beat him in this case, thus preventing it from issuing the real truth about the type of content being made, which he claims is porn.

He also claimed that in addition to Part 292 and 293 IPC, which for obscene content, he had been slapped with part 354, 420, it acted, and rape gang, and said that there was no logic behind it.
